school newspaper feature help?

okay so i want to do a feature piece in the school newspaper.... on something they can do during Nov.-Jan. Now i cant do anything controversial..... so anything political is out.... i want to do something a little loose... and fun... so any ideas? also this is for grades 6-8 so im targeting that age group
