I took my PSSAS when I was in eleventh grade and passed reading, writing, and science. Apparently my math grade wasn't proficient so they're making me (and everyone else who didn't do well) take math remediation with our math teachers.
PSSAS= Pennsylvania's state standarized testing assessment
Math remediation is basically us just sitting on computers doing useless problems... It cuts out of my study halls and I barely have any this year. My question is can I get out of this? If my mom calls the school. Or is it against the law? I know it is mandatory to TAKE the PSSAS but is it mandatory to PASS them?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
