My Grandson did not have his lunch money. He was ashlamed to go to the line where they give you a sandwich. he then went around asking kids for sometning to eat. they would not. what happened next. he started banging his head hard. s chool called his 10 yeard old Brother to calm this child down. Yes, Teachers were there.
Ny Grandson is 12 and his Brother 10. such a shame for his Brother to see this. Why did they not handle the problem and not his Brother. Which his Brother had to be ashlamed as well.
My Grandson has a server learning disability. He is albino as well. white air, etc. I feel like the school's are making these children ashlamed when the parent does not give them lunch money. They put a sandwich, apple and drink in a paper bag. Wow, i would not stand in that line either.
I know the school cannot give out free lunches but really how many kids stand in that line. I am sure not many. They either pay or get free lunches.
There has to be another way when the Mother does not give the child lunch money. I know my Grandson needs to be grounded for acting out such as this. But the school should come forward as well to tell this kid they are sorry he did not get lunch. jacar
