School Dance!!!!!! ()-()?

At my school I never go to my school dances because I have no one to go to. I am 13 years old and I am in 7th grade. There has been 4 dances this year so far and I havent gone to one yet. I always get nervous and my friends ask if i want to go with them but I never do. I guess i dont want to go because no boys ever ask me to go to the dance and I always feel by myself or alone. I do want to go to the dance but then i dont because I might be made fun of if i go by myself...I also dont want to go because i dont look good in dresses. I want to know if there is any tips on going to the school dances or ideas to make it more fun. Maybe i can get some help becuase a new school dance is coming up..

Aww, don't be discouraged! I know that sometimes it's embarrassing to think about going to a dance alone, but a lot of people do it . You're only in middle school, and so dates aren't really necessary. :] Just wear something kinda fancy - like a fun skirt and a fancier top - and go with friends. Have some fun! And who knows, some guy might ask you to slow dance!

Aw , when your only in 7th grade , honestly you do not
have to go with a boy . Just get a group of girls together ,
and go with them ! it'll probably be a lot more fun that way too .
You don't want to be pressured into slow dancing every slow song ,
or awkwardness if you went with a guy you barely .
my advice - like i said before , get a girls together ,
you'll have more fun :)
 
Go with friends and have fun! Wear a skirt and a cute shirt or something. Don't worry about looking to nice, go and have fun. Or get one of your friends to hook you up with someone. Hope that helps!

ahhhh.. middle schoolers and their self esteem.... stop lowering yourself down!! have some confidence! imagine how awesome it would be if you showed up at the dance looking totally hot WITHOUT a date!?! All the guys would ditch their dates to dance with you. School dances and prom and any of those events aren't totally fun unless your school goes ALL OUT and spends like a million dollars. It's what you make out of it. If you keep thinking negatively about it, the whole night will be negative and miserable! Go get an affordable dress that is totally flattering to you. Dont really worry about what's "IN" at the moment, because unless youre a 5'9 and fit (like me) most people can't achieve the look the models can. Most people just CANT with their disproportional bodies. I'm not saying like YOU cant, but im saying in general...
 
you can go by yourself

7th grade dances are usually casual so many people go by themselves

and you could wear casual clothes to

you wear a dress to homecoming and prom when your in highschool
 
okay im 13teen and ive only been to one of my school dances but i had to sneek cause my grandma wont let me go but anyways dont be scared or shy no one asked me to the dance i just went with my friend and i had a great time so you should to.
its kind of wierd if your friends have a date

as for what you should wear i whore a cute pair of skinny jeans and a tunic top or a babydoll top somthinig cute mabey from forever21 or wetseal and some accesories
