Scary/weird dream sequences in animation

That whole film was disturbing on so many levels.

Charlie escapes from some sort of Nazi dog pound, gets killed intentionally by his friends, messes with the afterlife to go back to reality, starts up his own casino and dupes a little orphan girl into helping him. I don't even think saving the life of that little girl at the end redeems Charlie for everything he's done so he can get into heaven.

In the last episode of Courage the Cowardly dog, do you remember that disturbing dream Courage had with the blue octopus thing? That was just.....weird

What the hell does that have to do with his post about All Dogs Go to Heaven? You already said this earlier in the thread, too.

The "Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland" film has some nice scary sequences (although not as weird as they should have been). And if you consider McCay's own "How a Mosquito Operates" as a "Dream of a Rarebit Fiend" film ...

How about that The Simpsons short, Maggie's Brain, on The Tracey Ullman Show. There was that dream sequence that Maggie dreamed of herself as a giant and Bart and Lisa as babies. She was tickling Bart and Lisa's toes for twelve seconds. I thought that scene was creepy in a good, funny way.
