Scary Terminix commercial.

No, I don't think it's as scary as that. I still remember how freaked out I was when I saw those kind of commercials back in elementary school. The giant slimy bug thing is kind of creepy since it does look like something out of a science fiction movie, but it really isn't that scary. The commercial about getting rid of those old Pokeball toys from Burger King when the first Pokemon movie came out so that kids wouldn't choke on them scares me more than this commercial does. As for the question as to why they have it on TV, they probably want to make people more aware of how small insects can more damage and health risks than most people are aware of in order to get more business.

This may be because I'm into weird and scary stuff but I don't see a problem with the monster in this commercial. It looked like something you'd see on The Troop.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that one. But Orkin's "there goes the neighborhood" commercials with scary ants, roaches and rats trying to invade have disturbing undertones of racism.
