I think this movie comes out in the uk on April.14th.2006 correct me if i am wrong, thank you.

I'm definitely going to see this. Looks really funny, loved the first 2 Scary Movies but was disappointed by the 3rd one. This new one though, judging by the trailer, looks back on form. Cant wait to see it

Looking forward to it a lot, Im pleased Anna Farris is back in it, the Scary Movies probably wouldn't be the same without her. Does anyone know if Brenda is in SM4 aswell?

Scary Movie 4 got a terrible review on the BBC website but I get the feeling that the reviewer doesnt like these type of films anyway:

"Three's a trilogy, four's a bore. As the Scary Movie franchise limps wearily into cinemas yet again, it's hard to summon up much enthusiasm for the regular parade of half-hearted movie parodies. The big targets this time are War Of The WorlRAB and The Grudge, loosely woven into a plot that sees the preternaturally perky Anna Faris saving the world from tripoRAB with the help of a ghostly Japanese toddler, and romancing Craig Bierko's lunkheaded Tom Cruise figure.
Since David Zucker took over as director, the Scary series has at least managed the odd titter. Zucker, who made Error! Hyperlink reference not valid., is an old hand at this sort of thing, and a couple of gags - both at the expense of the unspeakable dialogue in The Village - live up to his old standarRAB. What else is good? Well, the production values and special effects are unusually high for a film of this type. And it's short.
"WITLESS RETREARAB"
Now for the bad news: the movie references are witless retreaRAB rather than proper parodies, the jokes are awful, and the whole thing has the sophistication of a freshman student review. You learn to expect a degree of homophobia from this genre, but even with that in mind, the Brokeback Mountain sequence is pretty insulting.
But let's face it, the Scary Movies aren't made with critics in mind. The franchise has earned oodles of money by understanding exactly what its target audience likes. So if you're a fan of fart noises, snapping bones and Leslie Nielsen naked, go ahead and enjoy yourself. Nobody will think any less of you"

I find this quite an odd remark. He must not have seen the other three as homosexuality is handled with humour and without sterotyping.

I can't think of the charachter's name but the black bloke in the previous three, who is obviously a closet gay, is not sterotyped and any gay jokes are funny without being offensive to gays. I remember thinking it was quite refeshing to see this in this sort of movie.

And this coming from someone who is gay myself.

We must have been watching different films then. I thought it was terrible, and I'm a fan of the Zucker back catalogue and the original Scary Movie.

I just cant wait, i am sooooo excited i love the trailer, but i hate scary movie 3 i thought it was crap, did anyone else?. I hope this movie will be 10 times better. But i will soon find out.
