It was supposed to be in UK cinemas back in september or something, but its not been in our cinemas yet............i heard it was in cinemas down south......did not all cinemas pick the film up?
I have been looking forward to this coming out it was advertised in the ugc unlimited magazine to be shown at the end of november but have heard nothing after that.
It has been postponed because it contained jokes about Michael Jackson which people might have found offensive as even more alligations came out about him a few weeks prior to the original release date.
If you check the IMDB for Scary Movie 3, they give you a link for the trailer, it's very funny. I'll definetly be going to see it! The makeup on the guy playing Michael Jackson looks very good!
Scary movie 3 is crap, nothing like the first 2! Theres only a couple of funny bits and thats it. Don't know why they do 8 mile though, whats so scary bout that?
One of them involves a spoof of the film Signs. Charlie Sheen enters his daughters bedroom after hearing her scream. He sees a figure under the beRABheets laughing like a girl. He pulls the sheet off, and Michael Jackson is underneath. They both scream and then he asks Michael what he has done to his daughter. Michael goes, "I didn't touch your daughter, I swear." Charlie says, "I don't believe you!" and Michael replies, "Please, for God's sake, she's a GIRL!"
Another good joke is during the 8 Mile spoof, involving Simon Cowell giving his opinion, and then being shot by everyone at the club for it!
Watch the trailer and see what I mean.
The film was released in the states on October 3rd, were not getting it until later this month.
Went and saw it in New Joisey (well that's how the locals pronounced it!) back in November - not as good as the first (and the second one was just lame), but Anna Faris looks better as a brunette than the blonde she has become.... Anyway the film is passable. Not great, but passable.
No its definately The Others.... Sixth Sense is the girl, the others is when they fink its the girl but really its the old lady wiv no eyes playing with the toy, in SM3 they have michael jackson playing with a toy
It isnt as funny as the other 2 - but it is still very enjoyable. I think its one of those you love it or loathe it films and judging by reviews that seems to be the general opinion.
Most of the cast are missing from the original 2 - but the "bigger" celebs in this are just as good... Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, Anna Faris, Leslie Nielson etc do a good job.
It spoofs quite a few films but I think its the spoofing of The Ring that is portrayed the best.... "cindy... the tv's leaking" classic
