Scary Movie 3 ~ AGAIN

On the www.imdb.com message board for Scary Movie 3, people are saying it spoofs Scream, I saw it on Tuesday night, and did'nt spot anything to do with Scream, does the movie spoof it in anyway?

Scary Movie 1 &2 spoofs Scream and all the rest of the Horror genre
Scary Movie 3 just spoofs films like Signs and Men In Black 2 etc with the added bonus of Simon Cowell getting.........

were any of the first 2 ever funny? because im confused on why they would of been aloud to make 3, if they were soo bad, and therefore unsucessful. Then again what was it about 11 Land Before time's and bout 9 or 10 of them goin straight to video?! can't see what possessed them to keep making more and more, as I never really saw them to be very successful.
