Are you under much influence from the UK/USA? Or how do you differ?
Is it more civilised up there?

Very similar to us I found, but a lot more peaceful and better educated I found. But historically, the UK and Scandinavian culture have a lot in common. England was settled by invaders from Scandinavian countries. We were part of a Nordic Empire once. As a result we got a lot of their early culture, and they have developed along the same lines as we have. And seeing as the USA's culture was originally an offshoot of British culture, you can see why there are a lot of similiarities.

Plus about 80% of them are fluent in English, so they get a lot of Anglo related cultural imports.
