saw the new s1000rr today

one of the salesmen at my local yam dealer just signed on to some team, he had his on display a little while ago, looks great with track fairings!
 
i saw one this weekend.. i asked to demo it and the demos on it were books solid in houston.
i wass wtf!? but the swing arm look massive compared to the rest of the bike... and since i parked right next to the one they were demoing it kinda looked small in comparison to my 1198
 
At least you get to demo it...Here in Hawaii they are only letting people with deposits dpwn demo. WTF!!! I think that BMW would be quite upset to hear that. The dealership is not offering new customers (who ultimately are in limbo about buying the bike) experience this bike. Only those customers which they have already secured? That doesn't make any sence. Isn't that what a demo bike is for???
 
...I like the R/W/B the best......at first I didnt like the green but now I think it'd be better than the muted silver.....but R/W/B looked best.
 
I have never ridden a motorcycle S.F. or in the Bay Area.

That place just seems too damn congested for a motorcycle

But the bike you are describing reminds me of the Corona CBR!
