saw + saw 2 discussion thread (will contain spoilers)

i recently watched saw and have been reading up about saw 2. i thought it might be good to disuss saw and post ideas about what could be some of the traps in saw 2. this thread WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS for SAW 1 so if you haven't watched it don't read on as i will not use spoiler tags.

firstly how will they continue the plot unless lawence and adam both die in the end of saw 1. so i will take it as they were both dead.
i think that the woman who survived before (the one with the jaw trap on) will return helping jigsaw with the 'games' also i think one of the people tied up this time will be jigsaw himself in disguise (from the viewers mainly). what are your ideas???
 
Saw (get it, ha ha he he!) the trailer for SAW 2 the other day. Was a small clip but enough to get your attention.

liked the first one so well go see this when it comes out.
 
Well the 2 guys did die. I assume thats the crime that's being investigated in number 2. I'm also thinking that jigsaw will be a character in disguse
 
I really liked Saw. A good idea for a film, but how do we really know that the guy lying down in the bathroom with the 2 guys was Jigsaw, he too could have been playing the game. It seems like a waste if we now know what he looks like, whereas if he was just playing the game like the rest of them then he is still in disguise and not easily recognisable.
On checking IMDb it seems that the girl from Saw is in Saw 2, I don't know if this is because she goes back to drugs (as Jigsaw is trying to make people see that they have a reason for living and being a good person) or if its because he does want to kill her as she escaped the first time.
I will be going to see Saw 2 as I enjoyed Saw and I want to see if there is any closure or an opportunity for Saw 3, the possibilties of this idea could be endless if Jigsaw is not captured.
 
We know it was him. He closed the door at the end and locked it, so he had the key. It doesn't matter if we can recognize him, he could be in disguise in the new movie

It was such a cheap way of bringing him back and i think the guy on the floor not being saw would be cheap too
 
I agree the twist will have to be amazing to be better than Saw's. I remember the first time I saw Saw and until 2 minutes before the end thinking that it wasn't as good I had heard and was a bit predictable with it looking like it was the man from the hospital.

The man who was in the Bathroom who got up at the end could have been an accomplice of Jigsaw therefore making it scarier with two people carrying out the crimes kinda like Scream.

Is Saw 2 stil scheduled for a Halloween release date? Or is that only USA.
 
I think it's safe to say that the guy lying on the ground was Jigsaw all along.Plus on the audio commentary track he is refered to as Jigsaw.

According to www.imdb.com Saw II is being released on the 28th October here in the UK.

Because if it is then you know that in the second one the rules are bent so whatever you thought happened in the first one, may not be right.

Of course I am a HUGE scream fan and believe in these rules, and think two killers makes it a hell of a lot scarier to watch.

Can't wait for 28th October, when is it out in the uS then, must be soon, have to make sure I avoid Spoilers because spoilers would have completely ruined the first one for me.
 
Its not really a cheap way out imo. Just to make out that Jigsaw watched the whole thing on screens and had another accomplice in the bathroom. Although it is implied that the man in the bathroom is Jigsaw, there is no proof.
