Saw 6

just saw this , pleasantly surprised , I thought the dillemmas were great , especially the first one : who'll give up the most flesh ?

I'm hoping in the next one they'll go for a bunch of bankers .

does anyone know what the timeline is in these movies ? the events must all be quite close together , within a few months it would seem .

.

The movies are very intricately set,so it is very tricky to say exactly.

We know for sure that Saw 3 takes place in late October of 2006,six months after the events of Saw 2.
Saw IV takes place at the exact same time.
Saw V is apparently very shortly after the events of IV.

Slightly above average movie on it's own,but a fantastic addition to an increasingly convoluted series.

I liked that there were good twists throughout the movie, and the acting was better this time.Well paced, with enough gruesome scenes to stand alongside the best of extreme cinema.I also liked how it cleverly clarified what appeared to be some huge plot holes that arose in Saw V.

You can tell they (the producers) have paid more attention this time (and listened to the many fans),after the negative feedback last year.

The movie was made in 2004,but not's clear when it is set.If it was stated in the movies, then I missed it.

Dr. Gordon's (Cary Elwes) fate is still unknown, but there is a mention of him in the list of possible Jigsaw victims,in Saw 5.They are either keeping it left open or going to reveal his fate in Saw 7,which appears to be the final installment.

I've just watched this & it was brilliant.

A real return to form for the Saw series with some great twists & gore.

I thought the franchise died with Saw 4, but Saw 6 has just resurrected it.
