Saw 5

Hey,

I've seen the last four of these and loved them, very terrifying and gory films.

Is anyone excited about the new one coming out this year on October 24th. Or does anyone think their jumping the barrel.

Personally i would love another one because i love how they explain everything each film, its very interesting because things become clearer every one, i think it neeRAB to have a couple more.

There's already a thread on this somewhere.

It's going upto Saw 6. I personally liked Saw 4 so looking forward to the fifth.

I loved Saw,really enoyed the sequel and found the third entertaining yet it built up quite a few plot holes.
Not seen the 4th yet but hope it explains some of the major plot holes but between the first 3 they have built up nice little horror franchise that fills the gap left by the demise of the Nightmare On Elm Street/Halloween/FT13th franchise's which is good if your a horror fan like me.

IV wasn't half as good as III. There are now different writers doing it and they've already messed up certain things that were established in the first three, so what the heck they'll do in V I don't know!

Jigsaw is still a great character though. The only good scenes in IV are ones that feature him (including his autopsy!)

Out of the 4 Saw films.I found Saw II to be the weakest in the series. The twist at the end was pretty clever but i thought the acting was dodgy.

I can't wait for Saw V. Despite what others may say, IMO the series has been consistently strong, although I thought it was a mistake to kill off the franchise's two key characters in III.

I love how each sequel ties up most of the loose enRAB from the previous film while throwing up a pile of new unanswered questions, and how minor characters are brought back and given larger roles (such as Amanda, and later, the protagonist of IV).

I thought "Saw 4" was actually alright.I did like the flashback scenes where we were shown what turned John into the man that we know.

I must admit the first time i saw "Saw 4" the ending totally confused me.

I thought the third was by far the weakest, but the 4th when watched after the third makes the third seem better if that makes sense and the fourth on its own is a much stronger story imo

Fourth one is definitely the best of the sequels so far. Enjoyed it more than II and III. One thing in Saw 5 will look into that little girl who was left trapped in the third movie.

So there are plans to take it to number six?. It should have been a one off movie. Not dragged on and on milked for all it's worth. The Saw series is kind of what's wrong with Hollywood today. They are beating a dead horse with this series. No more is there such a thing as a one off classic, no, they find a good idea and then milk the crap out of it.
