Saw 3

The first thing I said when we left the Cinema after watching Saw II was 'I wonder if they will make another one?'

Seems like they are! Dont know how well it will work, considering the ending of the second film because...

I felt that Jigsaw was a complex character, I loved (and hated) the ideas to trap his victims and the fact he is mild mannered and a cancer patient. Not saure Amanda has the same impact on me, I kinda think she could crumble (mentally) where as I didnt get that feeling from Jigsaw. Suppose we will have to wait and see.

I really hope that Jigsaw hasnt died in the 3rd (and id presume) final movie. Perhaps they will work together but i really feel he makes the two films what they are... Perhaps if it is the last he could die at the end but leave behind one final lesson for someone.

Eithier way Saw 3 will have to be mindblowing to equal or top the other two because there are several things we will now expect of it, and not much that would suprise us any more

Eg: Were now going to expect that at some point in the movie someone is going tro have to use the Hacksaw in the bathroom

The other thing i hope they dont do is have one of the victims kill Jigsaw. Despite the fact hes dying he should remain Imortal IMO. (proberbaly the wrong word, as that makes that sentance an oxymoron but you get my drift...i hope :o )

Saw and Saw 2 producer Gregg Hoffman said this about plans for Saw 3 "We just finished Saw II. Yes, there's going to be a Saw III, and yes, we will do our best not to f**k it up. We're going to try for next year, but if it's not right when we'd have to start shooting, we'll wait". However no director and no cast yet but after how quickly they made Saw 2 I would not be surprised if this time next year Saw 3 is in the cinemas!

I watched The Saw yesterday afternoon..and the bit near the end was as gruesome as hell. I was on the edge of my flaming seat cringing like flaming mad..almost as bad as the lad was in it.

The game starter was a total psychopath though..god was he sick. But yeah..that bit at the end was absolutely gruesome. I was looking away from the screen and then looking back. I'm not sure if it can get any worse than this. Who the hell did they get to write the scripts for it...real life psychopaths or something??

I just checked it out, and the actor who plays Adam co-wrote it with his friend from film school. Don't know where it came from, but it's ****ing brilliant.

It says in that article about the death of the Saw producer that he saw a short film called Saw and wanted to make a full lenth film version which became Saw. Does anybody know if this short film is available any where?
