Saw 2 - Can you go too far?

This movie isn't out here yet. Unless I'm misunderstanding you when you say stateside. I believe it doesn't come out until December.

He must be aware. However, Amanda will be long gone by the time they get to the right house. The boy probably doesn't know where it is, and they can't trace the TV feed to it because it is not broadcasting. They'd probably have to find Eric's car.

I really enjoyed the first Saw movie, but if the second goes as far as to show a man cutting open a pregnant woman showing her unborn son, now that goes too far. Yea doctors prefororm c-sections all the time but to put this scene into a horror flick as part of the game its sick!!!

Well thats how it enRAB, so we dont know if he survives, he seemed alright though except minus a foot and needles sticking in all over him.

And Misery

He was only kinda ok in the movie, in the book he had his leg chopped off by annie (thats the real hobbling) and she also used a turkey carver to cut of one of his thumbs

...what a nice woman

Seen saw 2 on release and thought that it was pretty good, well worth watching and hey it looks like there will be a third, not sure if it will work though??

I dont really see Saw (ha ha) as a horror, more of a thriller/suspense with a lot of cringe-worthy cruelty. Both films remind a lot of Seven.

Went to see number 2 last night, the 1st quarter of the film had me thinking "nothing new then??", but once it got into it I really enjoyed it! Had me on the edge of my seat and cringing lots!!

It still had the claustophobia aspect, especially when the 'drug dealer' turned nasty!! I was kinda wondering my Amanda was looking as ill as everyone else and the twist at the end answered my question!

I said that as an example. Dunno if anything like that is actually in the film. However if you read the Book American Psycho it's got stuff way WORSE than that. I thought if any book deserved to be banned it was that one. Luckily the film of the book came nowhere near anything as nasty.

such movies and books serve a very important purpose. it does show a side to people which is rarely seen and hidden under many facades. i think a really great movie which expolred this recently was A History of Violence. it was excellent. saw was one of the best modern horror movies ive seen and saw 2 looks to be just as good. there is talk of more saw movies. having not seen saw 2 yet i cant say if it is good or bad, but if there are more i hope they keep the creators central to the development as they have shown great talent.

I enjoyed Saw II but itsnt on a par with the orginial. The first film was extremely sadistic and shocking, I walked out of the Cinema quiet sombre and little freaked out about the way in which the characters lived or died. Of course Saw II plays on the same theme again, so this time round it didnt shock me as I expected too. The twist at the end was a little cliche, and I wonder if Saw III will be any good considering the ending of the second film. But dont get me wrong, I did enjoy it.

And Donnie Walberg was quiet nice to look at too. :D

I thought Saw 2 was a good film and I didnt see the twist coming at the end however I didnt think it was as good as Saw. Some scenes in it were shocking but I didnt find it half as scary or gory as Saw which did disappoint me!
I have to agree with gerry d and brangdon comments about the ending of Saw 2!
