Saved!

Saved is possibily one of my favorite movies. I love how it brings a comical light to overly religious attitudes (having gone to Catholic school) but was also really touching. My favorite characters were Rowland and Cass ( I think that was her name) They honestly stole the movie for me. I'd be happy to see a sequel, which I know will never happen, with just those two.

This movie was so good; I was very pleased. My boyfriend really liked it too which was good because sometimes I can't read his tastes. The acting was really good and fun to watch. The cast was great. What I really liked was that although it was a teen movie, it wasn't overly concerned with a love story. It was just about people and life. The joes were really good too; I liked how the crippled jokes were generally spun by the cripple so there was so reason to feel bad for laughing.

I'll be eagerly looking out for a release date in Oz too, Elizajoey. The clips I've seen of this movie look hilarious, and I love absolutely anything Patrick Fugit does!

Wow that was a great movie! The entire cast was really great. Normally, I don't like Jena Malone, but I liked her character in this. And Eva Amurri...I was so impressed. And of course Patrick :p Ah they were all good.

Patrick: Do you wanna go out sometime? I'm like, totally adorable.
Mary: Oh, I'm not dating right now.
Patrick: What about tomorrow? Will you be dating then?

heehee he was so cute. I'm like, totally adorable.

RoswellAngel47 - I love that show, but I missed that! I plan on going to see this movie again so I'll look for that. This movie was honestly hilarious and everybody should go see it. Hilary Faye, Cassandra and Roland really made the movie for me.

It's opening in Seattle tomorrow. It has good reviews. I'll probably see it this weekend or next weekend.

I finally got to see this movie a few days ago! It wasn't quite what I expected, but I loved it anyway. The cast was wonderful, the music was wonderful, and it made me both laugh and cry.

That's very interesting about the Roswell book. I wish I'd known about this before I went to go see it because I'm a huge Roswell fan, but I completely missed that. Now I have to ask my sister if she noticed it.

I've seen some previews for this movie and I really like it. My friend is a Christian who involves herself in Christian concerts, church, events, etc. I'm guessing that she'll be interested in watching this movie with me.

Just watched this movie for the second time. I had since it in 2004, but I bought it last night (yeah, a DVD for 5 dollars is a deal) and I got to say I love it. It's not a 'teen movie' in the normal sense, which is great. (Teen movies haven't been all that great since the '80s.) And I loved how it played with 'religious freaks' while showing that it's cool to have faith in something, but uncool to use your faith for everything. I listened to some of the comm. and I beileve it was one of the actress that said she found it funny the characters always said: "Thank you, J..." whenever something good happened/was about to happen to them.

Coming from a place where people are over religious, over pro-America, or both...well, I got some great giggles from watching this movie and flashing back on things that have actually happened to me. So, over all a great movie was a cool message. Oh yeah, and the acting wasn't bad at all-great acting all around.

i lvoed the movie i loved how they make fun of the over the top christian beliefs but it also teacher a lesson and the cast were awesome

I saw the trailer for the movie and thought it looked really good. I think its gonna be one of the funny indie movies. The cast sounds heaps good.. I love Jena malone in all her movies (Donnie darko, life as a house etc.), I'll be interested to see Macualey Culkin considering i haven't seen him since his child roles and I wanna see Patrick Fugit play the "cute" guy cause in almost famous he was pretty nerdy
Eva Amurri's character seems really care... better than her character in the banger sisters  they gave her a really annoying character to play in that film.

She was saying she's got a hot *insert nickname for a baby cat and female private parts*... But disguising it in pseudo-Spanish/pig Latin. Hillary Faye cracked her code, though. :D
