Save as PNG in Photoshop CS3?

For some reason I can no longer save my pictures in PNG format with Adobe Photoshop CS3. I have always been able to save as PNG until today. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I haven't changed or deleted anything...the PNG option just disappeared (along with a bunch of other save options) under the save scroll box. I'm able to open PNG files fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
re install photoshop

that works for me most of the time

and try to clean out temporary files

go to

start > all programs > accessories > system > disk clean up
