Sass & Bide denim???

I have sass & bide jeans that fit me perfectly & i dont want them to stretch so normally during this situation i would put the pants into the dryer to shrink them up a bit. these pants are 97% cotton & 3% lycra will these be safe to put in the dryer? & if so will it still work if there not wet< or do they have to be wet?

If you wash them they'll shrink too much.
Just put some water in a spray bottle and spritz them before you put them in.
