Alright so A friend of mine works at Dairy Queen in Saskatchewan, Canada. He asked me to find out if this is right or against any laws or rules, etc... So I am asking you. There is a schedule for when people work. It is posted 2 weeks in advance. The work times in which each employee works is on this schedule. He was marked down for 7PM - 10PM(3 Hour Shift). He had a family birthday he really planned on being at after 10PM but the manager said to him without giving an option or asking if he wanted to stay longer. "You are staying until 11PM" He replied "I am only marked down until 10PM and plus I have somewere special to be." the manager replied "It dosent matter your staying until 11PM" - He wants to know if they are aloud to MAKE not ask or requst that you say longer then your scheduled shift?
