So I am looking for a digital camera to buy for my mom for her birthday. I have spent hours comparing the Sanyo VPC HD2000 to the Canon FS200 but I am still having major indecision. I prefer to purchase my camera from Amazon (for paying convenience). The Canon is priced at $325 and the Sanyo was $599 but is now only $299!! My biggest concerns are picture quality, a good zoom, easy transferability ( I run Windows by the way), and good quality snapshots. Am I crazy not to dive into the discounted Sanyo?... or is that camera too flashy for "mom-use"... OPINIONS PLEASE!!!
