A few years ago, my dad bought me a Sanyo VPC-E2. It worked amazingly up until three months ago. I had gone to Boston for the weekend and the image on the screen would turn purple, and there'd be two of them, kind of like those mirror things that you can do to pictures when editing them. But the pictures would look fine. That would happen off and on. Then a few days later I went to a party and put just the lens of the camera under the water for a few shots. Each shot was like ten minutes each and not long.
The manual says that the camera is able to go 59 inches underwater for about 30-60 minutes. I've looked in the manual and read reviews online. Nobody has reported having this problem that I've seen and the manual doesn't say anything about what to do in this situation.
I was just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone before or if they know what to do. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do or if I have to go out and buy a new camera. I probably will, I just like this camera.
Thank you.
