Sanyo SCP-4900 (sprint) PRL trouble?

Tried everything i can think of to try and get a prl loaded to this phone...ive been trying to use the 7741.prl....every time i use QPST it says it writes it but no luck...cdma workshop will not load it either...and when i try using the prl4000 sanyo loader it says cant connect phone...weird\

any ideas...is it the prl im using or do i need an actual sanyo pst to do it thanks!
 
Try using the 1040 or 1039 prl using CDMA workshop. I have done several of those phones and haven't had any problems. Also, check the SID/NID pairs and make sure they are correct.

Another way to check the PRL is on the phone itself. Look at the "phone Info" or something similar. It will tell you the PRL version. If the right prl version is being used then check the SID/NID pairs.

Also, make sure you have reset the SPC to all 0's.
 
make sure you use *2 when you OTA, cause on most Sprint Phones if you do *228 it will get you a Sprint CS/OTA cause some parts are just burned into the phone.
