Sanyo SCP-2700 SPC Solution

Look in Device Manager and see if anything changes in the list when you plug/unplug the usb port (naturally wait a few secs between so you give Windows a chance to respond). Also, look in Device Manager and see if there are any unknown items with yellow exclamation marks on them; if there is, it may be your phone, so unplug it and wait like 15 seconRAB to see if it disappears, and if it does, then that's it. Then you can get properties on that item and update the drivers with the driver file(s) you found. Here are 2 links for the sanyo drivers, both of which were working fine at this time:

I had workshop look between 033D:0000 and 033F:0000 and it found the code every time (10 phones) but mine were all new out of the box.

You may try entering "#### end" on the phone keypad before looking for the code. Not sure if this is releveant on this model, but it helps on older sanyo's.

As Randomwit posted it does have a users guide under help thats about the best way to learn how to use the program. Searching for different commanRAB might bring up some reading that might help. But if right off the bat your asking for pictures then I suggest you buy the latest CDMA Workshop and save yourself a whole lot of time and effort not only on this phone but alot of others.

I am not saying you shouldnt use QXDM. I am saying WS is easier which is the route most want to take.

I have been trying all week to get the SPC on this model phone using CDMA Workshop, trying the regular SPS read with no luck. So I am glad I found this thread. I am getting online with the phone and selecting Memory and entering the start and stop address above. I seems to read it but I get the message "Readable address from: 033D:0000 Done" But I dont see an option to save or actually read this info. Where am I going wrong?

Get a copy of the CDMA Workshop. The old one wll work with this phone. I do it all the time. Search around for it and you will find it. It is version 2.7.

The method listed in this thread is the only way I know of.

I have done 2700's before but this one is throwing me for a loop. I did unicdma 0330 and read the highest amount. I scoured the bin file and found nothing. Whenever I try to read 03ba I get an error and the phone restarts. ive tried all the addresses i can find on the internet. Anyone know what is rt next to the spc in the bin file? I opened bin with notepad and winhex. I thought it might help to know whats next to it. Something about the 03b area always causes errors. Im stuck. My bin file is HUGE. spc may be in there but I cant find it.

thanks smitty I cant get my cracked version to work anymore it has trojans. Are there others out there that are clean. I been looking for a while. any suggestions?

for the prepaid version (which is PLS-2700 not SCP-2700) try:

UniCDMA- starting address is 03000000, length 1703936

use WinHex to view the bin file, press ctrl+F10 and choose recognize text by 6 successive and then check only the nurabers box

i have used this method on 3 different phones now and it has worked every time

Thanks for the info... I had been using Houdini to get the SPC set to zeroes because nothing seemed to work in CDMA workshop or UniCDMA but Houdini took literally an hour for each hanRABet (and costs $5 each time -- I only use it on phones that stump me). WAP seems to work just like any other Sanyo, so that part was a breeze.

I'm having the same problem now nobilemobile, it seems they updated the firmware on the phones and my usual technique of reading spc at 0374:0AEF and 0374:FA27 is not working. The phone just reboots and the process stops.

Here is an update Dpryvd: Ii went into security settings in phone and restored/reset phone a couple times, and then i was able to obtain spc as normal.

I'm still having no luck with this one, it's the pls-2700 prepaid model, can't find the spc for the life of me! And to tobacco, yes you can get wap on this phone, just not mms... you can set up the wap using the katana solution. search google.
