Im new to flashing flip phones. I have this Sprint Pro 700 on cricket. i can text and make calls but there are a lot of cool things this phone can do that i can not seem to find ANY data on how to get working. I know there are a lot of setting on this phone so im sure it can be done.

Things i would like to get working.
Sprint navigation. I know i smart phones you can get this working through web
Internet. I cant seem to get this working even tho i have CDMA 3.5 full.

I have looked and searched on this sight. I always search google then use the search function on here. Thank you vary much if you can offer some clues or advice to help on this.

Sprint Nav is just that SPRINT NAV. It's a program made for SPRINT. Try google maps. For internet you most likely will need to enter setting in the phones programming menu as well as CDMA WS.

But Sprint Nav just won't function correctly with cricKet.

Yeah i suspected that the sprint nav would not work but the web and email should. My only real issue is that these flip phones are mysterious with like umpteen menus to go through and im not even positive what settings to change. The smart phones you have programs that change settings or TUTs that are vary easy to follow.

2 other additional things of interest. I changed a few settings on the phone for web and when i go back to read them with CDMA workshop its says access denied?!?!? This is vary odd i set the msl to all 000000 and then sent that to unlock the phone. it seems to possibly erase my modifications. The other thing is i went in to manually change the email url from something sprint PCS to mycricket, and it would not take the new url?!?!?! it just kept beeping at me when i hit ok.

Well since it's a Sprint phone, you can count on the following working
Talk
text
web
Things that won't work any Sprint App, email, MMS.
As for the setting reverting, are you using the WS 2.7 or the full WS 3.5.5, being a Sanyo I highly recommend doing a full NV dump before modifying anything more than the SPC. After that make all the adjustment's needed and try checking the NAM lock box in the NAM tab, if it's checked try unchecking it.

Ok the nam was not locked. But i took note that when i sent spc "000000" i got this

SPC (Service Provider Code) = 000000
FSC (Field Service Code) = Failed
OTKSL (One Time Key Subsidy Lock) = 343990

and when i read the EDVO it wont show PPP/PAP PassworRAB and when i write them in it gives this error

Failed to read PPP Password - Access denied
Failed to read PAP Password - Access denied

I decided that since there was a lack of info regarding this phone i searched for web settings for the katana. It seems as tho the settings are some what universal for these phones and many people agree that the settings worked and a few different sanyo phones. The settings should be golden for the web. just got to get passed the error.
