sanyo katana with cricket

im having some issues getting my SPC i made the file to open in notepad but when i seach for the strand as in the walkthrough it says its not there

nevermind i got it through a hex editor just having issues OTAing cricket PRL1040
 
You either need to know what it is so you can enter ##SPC# and enter the MDN/MIN manually, or change it to 000000 so you can *228 instead.
 
ive searched over and over on here and google and couldnt find how to get the katana to work on cricket, i soppose all you have to do is change the prl, and then manually program it? can anyone point me in the right dirrection, do i have to get the msl for it also, and does anyone know if theres spc readers for this phone
 
there..... i just wrote all the steps to get the SPC

Use CDMA workshop to get the prl on it...it is a 30day trial and after that the price is 100$... cdma-ware.com

i have a sanyo program that you load ANY sanyo phone to it, hit write and it will write the 1040 prl to it. Only other problem is the tricky part of.....SPC reading ; )
 
LOL, that's pretty wrong, but, very funny. Let's all sit and watch him squirm for a minute. then tell him there are several different ways to do it, that are all pretty darn easy.
