I don't have an issue at the moment, but I'd like to know what can be done if a problem arises.
I'm running a netbook, so no windows repair cd came with the computer and I believe (I'm not really sure where to check) that I have wiped out the repair partition on the HD by installing Ubuntu.
When I click the repair button on the welcome screen of the BIOS is just goes to the GRUB bootloader, so I fear I've destroyed my machine repair function.
Is there a way to fix this before I have a potential problem? What do I do if there is a problem? And how do I check to ensure I have wiped out the restore function.
Much appreachated =)
