So I realize the following question might sound silly..I don't know..you be the judge. But my family just recently purchased a 55" Samsung LN55C750. For those of you that don't know, it is a 3D LCD HDTV. It also comes with a 3d blu ray player.
My problem is that I find the picture quality to be almost too good, if there is such a thing. I'm not sure if this makes sense, but it seems like everything looks too smooth and sharp. It's like the people are cut-outs on a fake background. At first glance it looks impressively crisp, but you soon realize that the image looks fake. It just reminds of those soap operas on TV.
Question is..can I do anything about this? Or is this just the look of HDTV? If it is, I must say I'm a bit disappointed..we've had a 52" Hitachi TV upstairs for over 10 years, still looks great and works fine and I prefer that picture quality much more than the new TV
