I currently have a 42" LED-LCD Westinghouse, 120hz. It looks pretty good, but the lack of ports, and seeing I'm on my second unit already due to a pulsating white line on the screen, I have considered getting a 40" Samsung LCD, not LED. They both have 120hz, at 1080p. My question, is the lack of an LED back light going to be noticeable? I've heard lower end TV's use lackluster LED technology, which doesn't even compare to a higher end LCD, like Samsung. Any help appreciated, need to make a decision by tomorrow!
