I want to get a new phone. I am currently still on my contract with verizon and i am NOT a primary line. I was interesting in buying this phone new off ebay and activating it either online or at the store. my main question is as of now, does this phone still not require a data plan. Ive read that this phone was the last to not require it and i want to know if that still applies today. also is there a fee for activating it or if I can even do it at all.
