Hi.
I recently bought an i5700. So far I'm very pleased with the phone but I'm having trouble upgrading firmware.
I have installed NPS 1.5AC4 which recognises my phone and tells me that I have an upgrade available. When I run the upgrade wizard everything goes well. The upgrade downloads, is unzipped and verified. However, when it gets to step 3, downloading the upgrade to the phone, nothing happens. Either I get a message that the upgrade was unsuccessful or the program NPS just hangs. Same thing in emergency recovery mode.
I have tried several versions of NPS with clean installs of both the program and the drivers.
My system is Windows 7 Ultimate running on an Acer Aspire One. NPS is installed and run in XP compatibility mode.
I know the upgrade isn't the 2.1 upgrade but I'd like to have this issue solved for when 2.1 does appear. Anybody got any ideas?
