Yes, the in store upgrades are always free.

Upgrades are kinda a risk thing. Sometimes they work great and you come out with a phone that is 3 times as good as the first version! Sometimes, they can add features you may like...that didn't have access to. Sometimes, they can fix bugs (like resetting, etc).

There is the rare occasion they can make the device even worse. Sometimes, they add issues. Sometimes, it can even crash your phone. The most common issue is the loss of things like applications and contacts. They will credit the applications that you lose, if any. They will take full responsibility to any damages (or other issues that may make the phone annoying). They will replace it if necessary and credit any lost applications.

You don't have much to lose, and your phone can never improve without these needed updates.

they gave me a new phone instead of my old one
but with the update
so im happy
n i love the phone now
it is so MUUUCCCHHHHH better than the old SW

Do you notice any changes in the interface? What about how it works? Do you notice anything different after the update?
 
the update is good for the blue button being gone and the shortcuts tab on the side is handy *when you can get what you want placed where you want it* However, the touch screen problem is NOT fixed. It is still highly annoying. sometimes it works great and other times it will take several minutes of your time to push the right button. Even with the phone slid open.

I'm about fed up with this phone.

the alert menu comes up by it self
it touches other places.
this is my third glyde
they said if it happens again im opened to a new model.
so im doing it
any suggestions
 
I'm in no position to make recommendations to someone about a phone. I mean I researched this thing and checked it out in the store and still got it for myself.
 
Me too isaw like every rece as a touch screen phone a bad choice as a touch screen phone and i stilll got it
any one else suggestions for a new phone
which kinda phone will they give me.
i dont want the voyager
