I rooted my Samsung Vibrant so that I could WiFi Tether it. It's STILL running Eclair but I know that Samsung said that they would release Froyo to US Galaxy S users "soon". Will I need to unroot my phone before I can update? And would it be possible for me to install Froyo without getting it via the OTA update? Like installing it from my MacBook Pro?
