SAMSUNG EPIC 4G TEXT MESSAGE TONE CHANGE?

So, I have the Samsung Epic 4G, and was wondering if its at all possible to change the text message tone/alert to a downloaded file [song]? I found out how to change it to the Samsung options, but I can never hear it...so, I wanted to get a longer and louder tone.

If anyone could help, I would appreciate it! Thanks guys!
 
downlaod "zedge" and use it to find a ringtone and download it. go to one of your text messages that has been allready sent, go to options, and itll have an option for just your text messages. when it asks where you would like to choose a tone from, click on zedge and choose your tone! totally just found this out after reading this and it didnt help. hahahahahaha.
