I sucessfuly repaired i900v. It was only red light when power on. I used Omnia repair tool. At the begining I had problem with communication but with help of supporter it finished well.
I repaired with i900 boot area, next flash with i900 sw.
Phone is working fine as i900.
Boot repair procedure I had to do in that order:
1. Connect JTAG
2. Insert battery
3. Power on (red light) wait about 10s
4. Run OmniaRepaiTool aplication, Scan Flash, Repair areas 0-9

Note: Without battery I couldn't repair boot area.

- Phone damage ( start up logo only ,Monahans detection,...)
- Tool used ( DLD team tool , omnia repair tool , ...)

I have sucessfully repair one I900v dead with red led. but for a totally dead I cannot revive it.
note with the new update PXA31X suite I need good dump and flash type
for test!
If someone have this please upload! Because files are not in support area
Note I use Omnia repair tool

I still have problem to connect i900

phone is dead (no red light)

battery is full

still JTAG connection error and from support no answer, hmmm

any idea ?

I have other tools but this will be the only one for JTAG or boot repair;

I have NSpro, JAF, micro UFShwK, SEtool, and a few old Zulea tools like usbsmart and old Div and terminator

is there turorial videos for ORT i can download ??
 
i have pieces of s8000 someone done this? iknow that is supported by ORT i solder pins but ihave problem with power on phone some solution or maybe multi-com have JTAG?
 
Buy OPENICE A1000 or Trace32 ICD

those are new/updated - all are with direct connection to omnia tool by flat tape so no more need to find/solder correct pinout on these ones
