samsung d900<???

i bought my girlfriend the d900 and ive been playing with it more than she does so im wondering if there are any phones out there with features that are comparable to the d900. doesnt have to be a slider but has to be at least 2mp camera/recorder. i like the sleek interface and just everything about this thing. id buy one myself but it just seems a little too douchey to have matching phones. o, and it doesnt have to be a samsung, i just havent found a better company out there. ill be using cingular in the NE US so any gsm phone.

also, whats the order of these samsung phones im finding? i see d807s and d820s and Exxx's and about a million others. which are on the upper eschelon?
 
Sony Ericsson W850i is very similar, it has 2 megapixel camera, triband 900/1800/1900, it can hold more memory up to 8gb, on the back of the slide it is stainless steel when you open it.

if you like the D900 alot, keep that and buy a LG KG800 chocolate for you girlfriend
 
If you think the D900 is good then take a look at the Sony-Ericsson K790a/K800i. I used to have a K800i and switched to a D900. 1 month later I'm ready to switch back. That phone spoiled me. It's got a 3.2mp camera that actually works how a camera should. You don't have to hold it perfectly still like you do with the D900. Better menu as well. You may also like the W810 if you don't want to spend as much. If pictures are a big deal to you then make sure whatever you buy has autofocus.

do u guys actually like the sony interface better than the samsungs? i played with one of those sony walkman phones a while back and wasnt nearly as impressed as i am with the d900's. it just seems so slick. i personally use an lg 9200 and the only redeemable quality to it is the slide out keyboard but even thats losing its appeal the more i play with the d900.
