Samsung D900 vs. W810i

So yea, I'd appreciate any input/comments/advice anybody can give me.

I'm in quite a jam here. I impulsively bought a Samsung D900, my dream phone. BUT there's a slight hitch, the BT and Java implementation won't let me use Salling Clicker. I'm currently using a K750i, and every now and then finds the signal to be zero. this bugs me a little.

So since I was getting bored with the K750i, and have wanted the D900 for god knows how long, I bought one. But now that i discovered that this awesome remote control app won't work on it, I'm thinking of getting rid of it.

So here's my dilemma, I have to admit that I don't use the Clicker THAT often, so maybe I can learn to live without it. However, even with that, I'm still short $500. Whereas if I stick with my K750i, I got to keep my money. As for the signal issue, I can also get a W810i for less than $200. But it's practically the same damn phone as K750i, except with 850.

So what should I do here? Stick with the awesome new phone with just a small hitch, or stick with what works for me now and keep $500??

Either way, If anybody's interested in K750i or the D900, they're both for sale.
FS: D900
FS: K750i

Thanks for any and all input. Feel free to tell me I'm stupid for being so anal about this.

I'd prob get the W810 since it's a lot cheaper... It has better RF performance and way better battery life. Save your money and ditch the D900...

where can you get a w810i for less than $200? i've got a w800i now and am missing the 850 band.

i've been looking at the d900 but samsung's UI puts me off a little. also, my wife has a t809 and while it's a great phone in many ways, the battery life is terrible. bumping from a 1.3 mp camera to the 3.1 mp camera on the d900 must drain more juice, no?

I can get the W810i for that price by hardware upgrade through Rogers.

As for the battery, I expect it to be bad and I've read that at most, some people only managed to get 4 days out of it with minimal use. My K750i can go up to a week with no charge with moderate use. There's always sacrifices for thin-ness I guess. At the moment I'm letting the D900 drain under standby to see how far the batt stretches; I do play with it every now and then, so hopefully it simulates light use.

Anybody wanna buy it? I might just sell it for now and maybe get it again once Salling's dev got it working with his software.
