I tried to play MKV's with DTS or AC3 audio off my external hard drive and the audio skips ever 10 to 15 seconds, it doesn't come out of sync but its really annoying. I had the same problem with VLC player and switched TO MPC with AC3filter and the audio is fine, but still skips on my Bluray player. Any suggestion on how to fix this?
