Samsung app store problem?

So i just updated my samsung app store on my samsung galaxy s vibrant and now it doesnt open it just says " this app has unexpectedly stopped please try again" and iv tried it 11 time but still the same thing happens what should i do and is it because of my phone needing an update it v2.1 and there is v2.3 out for my phone
