Samsung A900 for Cricket

So I have been using my Motorola KRZR on Cricket for a few weeks and have been very happy but just learned (thanks to this forum) that I can get my A900 to work with Cricket. I dumped Spring back in October because I was in the Marines and didnt get service out on base. I put it away and havent used it since. I always did enjoy that phone and I am happy to hear that I could use it. I read in a thread that a guy here has done a few. If you are that person could you share the how-to. I would love to get my A900 up and running again.

My next question is this: I hopped on ebay for a quick min and found that there are many a900's on ebay that are soley for Cricket but most of them have all this ugly ESPN branding on them. Whats up with that? Is there are difference between the Spring A900 and the ESPN branded A900's?
 
first just search and you'll find how to flash.... and second theres not a lot of diference between them just that the ESPN has ESPN mobile...... A900m is a better choice because it is a lot faster than the A900
 
I am actually looking for a a900m on ebay. If I can grab one, will I have to find a new dll? Right now I have the a900 dll
 
the a900, a900m and a900 espn edition will all work with the same dll. You can even flash a regular a900 with the a900m firmware in unipst.
 
Cool. That would save me money by just flashing my current a900 to the a900m. What are the differences between the 2? krjavi said that the a900m was faster. Anything else?
 
I used a900m firmware for a while and couldn't figure out ringtones. I have no issues with the a900 firmware. If only the bell firmware would get leaked, then wap would be easier to get working.
