same workout , different gym. but my muscles dont hurt next day WHY!!?

i am going to the gym in order to gain mass.so i went on holiday so i joined the local gym there. i did my chest workout on friday and at night and the next morning my chest hurt like hell(good sign) . so i come back home on monday and i go to the gym here. i do exactly the same excersises for chest but the chest aching is minimal to non existant. i put in the same effort and concentration . btw this is the first time that i did chest on a friday and then again on a monday. i usually leave a week inbetween each body part. maybe that could be the problem? can someone enlighten me please?
