Sorry I started the thread and ran. My mom just had knee replacement surgery, so I had to go to the hospital.

I haven't had a chance to watch the episode yet, but from the posts here, it sounds good.

there was nothing of "the scene" ... but they did show the case that Sam and Andy will be working (or maybe just Sam?) ... with a little girl who Sam is pulling out of a van ... and the promo makes it look like Andy getting shot at is WAY worse ... (multiple shots instead of just one) :eek:
 
Well, thinking optimistically (for Sandy shippers) he could have meant he's in a lot of scenes and when they fight, he's the one dumping her???
 
I wish I could get my greedy little hands on all 13 episodes, MHAHAHAHA!!! Does anyone know any of the production staff that we can bribe? lets pool our $ together, lol!

has anyone noticed from last night's episode when Sam and Andy were standing by the car the way he staring at her? before Gail and Williams come over Lol it made me laugh he didnt even care Gail and Williams were there he was just staring at her!

i think Sam sounds discouraged when he says that .... like maybe someone said something about their relationship to Sam? or someone found out and Sam got in trouble? (if that's even what they're talking about in the scene)

Loving your recap.

Gail seemed as if she was actively trying to make Andy jealous just to prove that she was right when Andy was covering up any thoughts of her feelings for Sam.

I thought Andy as overreacting about Traci leaving but I thought back and she was reluctant for Traci to go. Love that Sam nudged her the right way!!

I LOVE Gregory Smith. He's hilarious.

Chris is supposed to kiss Gail in the next episode, yay!

Just watched the episode.

Awesome.

There are a few Sam and Andy parts that I especially like.

For example, Andy does not seem that interested in Luke. I mean, she just left him in the morning. Yes, she has intimacy issues. But I just don't see her looking at Luke in "that" way. She does not seem too into him.

Going back to the intimacy issues, I think that is why Andy is scared of her feelings for Sam. It's easier for her to just go for Luke. She doesn't like him as much as she likes Sam. With Sam, she would be putting her heart on the line.

I like the scene where Andy does act a bit jealous and bothered when Gail volunteers to go with Sam. We know that Gail likes Chris. But I don't think Andy knows that. So you do sense a bit of jealousy from Andy. She even looked back at them when she was walking into the house.

And I did like that Andy completely basically forgot about the dangerous suspect when the dog attacked Sam. I like that she put him first even though she knows that he is a tough guy who can take care of himself. She was still concerned about him.

And I adore that Sam listened to Andy talking about her mom and then mentioned that to her. He genuinely wants to get to know her. And how hard he kept trying to put the blame on himself rather than her. Super sweet.

And Andy listens and values Sam's opinion. Right when he told her to back up Traci, she went back to talk to the boss and followed his advice.

And yes, she does call him Sam in that dog scene.

As for the actor who plays Luke saying that the next episode is good I think he is referring to his character getting a lot of screen time and storyline in the next episode. I don't think he is talking about it from the shipper point of view. But more from screen time and storyline focus point of view.

And yeah, I would HOPE the writers would not put Andy back with Luke after her getting with Sam. That would make Andy look bad, in my opinion.

And about the "it was what it was" comment, I STILL think it's more about episode 8 when Sam and Luke have that rivalry going on. I still think that perhaps Sam makes it more personal. Hence, Andy later wondering what that was. I don't think it's about Sam and Andy sleeping together.

Next episode looks like it will focus on Luke. While I do think the actor is gorgeous, I just do not find Luke interesting as a character. I just HOPE that we get Sam/Andy interaction in the next episode. From the preview, it looks like Sam and Andy might be investigating the case together.

that's exactly what i think too ... i think that's what Luke and Sam get so personal in episode 8 ... Luke might be mad and think that Sam is putting Andy at risk or that it's going to happen again (Andy will get killed like Zoe - the dead rookie) and Sam is just going through episode after episode of Andy getting into dangerous gun shooting situations
 
Ugh. She better not! I hope that comment didn't have anything to do with the fact that they hook up together. There have been other instances where they show segments of different episodes together in the same promo to make things very misleading. Might be one of those cases. *Wishful Thinking* ;)
 
I agree with you. I don't hate Luke at all, and while I'm still all for Andy/Sam, I would be incredibly disappointed if she cheated on Luke or went from one to the other in a span of 5 seconds. I cannot wait for that bedroom scene, but if it doesn't happen until much later, I won't be too upset because I'd rather the writers set up the relationship between Sam and Andy the right way. I want to like Andy, and I can't do that if she goes from one guy to another.
 
I have yet to see the new episode!

So are there a LOT of Sam/Andy scenes? Or is it mostly Andy/Luke scenes?
 
Seriously? I'm going to have to check into that, and yeah know you have me wondering. Seriously they should just for a few episodes have it on like twice a week. Just like Wipeout. Would help out sooooo much.

But of course I doubt that will happen which means we're going to have to continue for every bit of info we can get. -cracks knuckles- Guess I know what I'm going to be doing throughout the weekend. ;)
 
Wow great Reasons. you can also add because he is smoking hot i think i have watched that locker scene 5 times :P
