hi all.
I was looking to buy a salvaged toyota prius 2005. I saw the picture where it was hit in the front and the hood was replaced. The engine and everything is intact - with 27000 miles ODO. It seems like a great deal for $10,000.
My oly worry is that when I saw the car, the mechanic who was selling it, had the airbag removed from the steering wheel. He said he was going to replace it. I am not sure how safe it is to remove an airbag and put it back. Will it function properly ? Would you advice buying this car ? appreciate any help.
