Unfortunately the assocaited forum is run by *ankers.

Although I do contribute to it the whole thing is a bit of a joke.

They actually removed the picture of the Salo cover as it had topless women on it and the very best local R1 importer which is Movietyme is banned from being named on the site.

Apparently some years ago Movietyme was a sponsor but because they started up their own forums this lead to disagreement and if you try and name Movietyme on the site the auto censor deletes it.

I've had several run ins (and several usernames) with the moderators and they really are the biggest load of pricks on the net.

Look out for Splobber - a knob of the highest degree

Unlike RAB the moderators actually post on The DVD Forums and if you disagree with them they ban you.

But the picture is still up on the site so they must have put it back up. I dont post there or read their forums but i can imagine it being as you say it is.

Oh ok.It seems a bit silly though because it is getting officially released. If its getting released legally then there should be no problems in showing the cover art for it. Seems like the wanna make a big deal over nothing.

I cannot possibily imagine anyone would want to watch salo more than once though. Seriously, I'd never suggest a film should be banned but it is a rather sad reflection on humanity that this film was made, IMO.

Ive only watched it a few times but i can appreciate the reasons why it was made. Now my reason for wanting to OWN it is because of the extra features which i think will be just as interesting.Plus im just getting into blu ray movies and would like to see how good it can look. The last release visually was not that great.

If nobody was interested then they would not be releasing it on Bluray would they

Although I did skip to the "good" bits.

Its a film of interest because it was banned for so long
