Sales Rep needs..Smart phone , organizer, GPS point to point...

Here is my shopping list......I think so far the N95 might be the best fit, but anyone with some input here from experience would be greatly appreciated,..

Currently i use a inno 55 as my phone ( getting tired , cracked screen etc)
Garmin Iq3600 as my gps organizer.

The garmin is great as i have all local maps for Victoria BC Canada on it, It saves way points with info ( this is very important)
Shows recent found addresses, points of interest , intersections etc...and anytime i look at these in map view it saves it in the recent, which lists about 25 last locations viewed

Most important however is that when i make an appointment in the organizer, i can assign an address to that appointment , so as the day progresses, i can just click on the appointment eg. Mrs jones, at 555-2233 and hit the route me to it button...at that point it switches to a turn by turn map with Mrs Jones address ....it will also give me an approx arrival time.

Are there any internal gps enabled phones on there that have these features...Most importantly appointments with associated addresses ????

Thank you kindly for all your input....yes this phone will be in my pocket or on my belt almost always so size is a concern,
Functionality is key..wifi, free gps point to point...
Price...up to $1300 usd.....that seems about right
 
I have experience with n95
All is good exept GPS
It's terrible slow!
Sometimes take 15-20 to locate satellites.
So if you want to use it as GPS navigator I suggest you to take MIO 701 or other PPC.

HTC P3300 with TomTom6 with all north american maps. Should cost you around 650 USD. Has only a 2mp camera, compared to 5mp on N95 but the navigation is free and voice guided and the chip in HTC P3300 is WAY more sensitive and accurate compared to N95, which does not compare much as a GPS device plus you got to pay for voice guided navigation.

the p3300 looks awesome.....but please dont tease me, can i associate a street location on the map to any contact or appointment. ,,,This is very imortant....., currently with my garmin IQ3600 ( not a cell phone just pda organizer) when i set an appointment i can shortcut key, upward stroke, then Z and attach an address.....Its easy to punch in the address...From then on when i want to go to that customer or appointment it will automatically route me there.........i never have to look up the address or location again!!!!!!! If the HTC P300 does that then hoorray..........

Is the N95 really that much slower to pick up GPS sats than the p3300?
 
Well, P3300 is windows mobile device so you do have to save contacts in it the regular way, however when you open up TomTom, you can do this from the main screen
'Navigate to> Contact>' and then choose your contact and TomTom will directly take you there. If your trying to get TomTom to run automatically when you hit each appointment, that cannot be done, but if you've already entered the contacts address in your device, TomTom can use that information and plan the route.

Is that good enough?
 
wow........that is not as easy as the garmin....but this is still easy enogh..

I would just like to thank you all for your input...definately sounds like for what i want to do the htc p3300 is the one......

Is there anything that is slated to be released with these features in the next month or so?
 
An upgrade to P3300 is scheduled for October/November release by HTC known as HTC Polaris, which you can google.

I'm however quite satisfied with my P3300. The Sirf Star chip is uber sensitive as is.

Some people like ETEN because its 1mm slimmer, and has a faster processor, and in reality that is true, except ETEN is 113mm compared to 108mm, which made a difference in my hands, plus ETEN had a few bugs which I believe have been corrected with updated ROM's, but I found extensive support for HTC P3300 on XDA developers plus I jst liked the looks of P3300, at the end of ur day, its personal preference.
I knw my opinion doesnt quite help but I think you need to hold both in ur hands and see for urself, if possible that is.
 
E90 does not have the SIRF star chip. It uses the same chip that N95 uses, which has been proven to be less sensitive, less accurate than ETEN X500/ HTC P3300.
But, E90 is one heck of a communicator
