Anyone watching this. channel 5 now. I honestly have never watched this film before, I have seen little bits.. like the bit where the lad is knocking on the bedroom window.

Its quite funny because you could see the stand he was standing on as he pulled back from the window... but quite spooky too in that 1970's kind of way LOL

It scared the living daylights out of me. Especially that scene with the undead Glick boy floating at the window.

And I am not easily scared... I think. (Exorcist doesn't bother me, for instance).

The effects were pretty basic compared to nowadays but very effectively done.

James Mason was superb.

Something about the way the movie ran suggest to me that chunks were edited out by Five?

LOL It did send a shiver down my spine. I remember seeing a clip of that bit years ago and scarey then. The sound of his nails scratching the glass..... LOL

My wife's a David Soul fan and and you're right big chunks were edited out. Shame really, as it was shown at 10 o'clock at night.
