One of the greatest Doom albums of all time. Born Too Late encompasses alcohol addiction and turns into a music form, and much like drinking too much, the music is slow, plodding, and depressive. The fuzz tones of Dave Chandler provide the perfect accompaniment to the wails of vocalist Scott Reager and the whole mood is one of regretful sorrow. An excellent album by and excellent band. I lovvve this album. Most of the SST pigs back in the day didn't like them because they weren't in the vein of alot of the funky punk/jazz/improv type trash SST was putting out. I personally thought they had a great Sabbath like sound.

Fantastic album. I've been looking for some actual copies of their albums for ages (not downloaded). They seem to be too few and far between. Awesome band.

It always sounded like I would love it, but when I finally listened to it, it didn't do anything for me.

I don't know why. Quite odd.
