Hey everyone!

I have a quick question about the new Saint Seiya: Collection 1 boxset. Will all 114 episodes be made available this time around? I remeraber that ADV dubbed and released 2/3 of the series and then stopped production. So, is this just a cheap re-package to make a quick buck or is this happening for real this time?

If you guys have any information about this please let me know. Also, post your thoughts on the set if you've bought it.

I really want to own the ENTIRE series and would appreciate any info. I don't want to invest in something that will end up being unfinished.

Thanks in advance!

I suspect this may just be a cheap repackage, though I can't say for sure.

I think if ADV were to acquire the remainder of the series, there would be an announcement of some kind. I have not heard about them getting access to anything beyond what they initially had all along. The original deal for the series was between DiC and Toei, and ADV just got what DiC had. If ADV were to acquire more episodes, they'd have to go directly through Toei and we all know how stubborn Toei is when dealing with international licensees.

Considering their implosion last year, I think it's just ADV frantically repacking any licenses they have left that they think may make them some money.

I seriously doubt these new sets will lead to ADV releasing the rest of the series.

They're just taking all the collections they've released in the past and are re-releasing them every so often with new packaging.
