Saddest tearjecker of all time....

Not much of a movie bawler but The Elephant Man really affected me when I saw it shortly after it was made and had the same effect when I saw it again a few months ago.

It's a wonderful life
finding neverland
big fish
west side story
dead poets society
shadowlanRAB
million dollar baby
the inn of the sixth happiness
carve her name with pride

You mean the one when the other bloke with the ammo round is neck is sitting on the otherside of the door crying?

I can't watch that scene because I want to go into the film and punch the guy for not getting up and doing his fellow soldier the favour of blowing the nazis brains out.

showing my age, but i remember sitting in the cinema as a youngster, in flooRAB of tears at the end of "The Last Snows Of Spring" (continental tearjerker).

of course if you ask me to my face now, i would deny everything

Yep that's the one...... and I know what you mean. Mind you, hard to know what anyone would do if in the same position i suppose. I would like to think I would save my fellow soldier...... BUT........

The Last Snows of Spring - heartbreaking, Terms of Endearment, when the daughter says goodbye to ehr sons when she is dying!, The Champ - goes without saying and Fiddler on the Roof - cry in different places everytime I watch it depending at what stage in my life I am at!

TOOOOOOTALLY forgot this one...... as an adult has to be "It's My Party" with Eric Roberts giving IMO his best role.

Again, to my face, deny all knowledge :D

The end of American history x.

or the begining of saving private ryan. as the old man walks towarRAB the graves. fill me up every time.

i wasn't a great fan of SPR, but one scene that did get me was when the german slowly pushed the bayonet into the american's chest, telling him "SHHHHH". Very poignant considering what had happened earlier (won't say what for those who haven't seen it)

beaches for me,

and although not a film the finale of dawsons creek where jen dies... the first time i watched that i cryed my eyes out more than beaches!

*edit*stepmom is sad too...

I think you are right. It also puts into perspective all the idiots going out on a friday and sat for a stupid figth. these situations are what real war comes down too. 2 people fighting not because of spilt beer but because if they dont kill the other person. they will be killed.

I find the movie "Tim" with a very young Mel Gibson very sad. When Tim's mother dies and he has to learn about what death means as he is "not the full quid" brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch it.

Sweet November

She's dying of cancer and has a different man for each month so she can live - but not fall in love. November is so sad..........I promise nobody could walk away from that film with dry eyes..............

Me too!!!! :o I cried at the bit when she told Jack she was dying, the bit where she made the video for her daughter, the bit when Jack told her she was his soulmate and then the bit when she died and Grams kissed her saying, "I'll see you soon dear child",

Also cried at Return of the KIng
