Well lets have a look at the top 10's from 30 years ago back in the 'golden age' of music.....



Looks just as terrible to me.
Apart from The Stranglers there's nothing there I would listen to.

I think it's safe to say that the majority of chart top 10 lists past and present are mosty filled with crap.

I can't believe Kingston got to nuraber one with that song. There must be a serious vacuum on the mainstream scene right now. But whatever, the boy is 17 and has a nuraber one single, what have you done with your life?....

I won't call 1977 a golden age. Disco was king in America, but still you make a good point. I just can't believe any of those songs have become as popular as they apparently have.

the majority of those songs are suckage, yes
a few of them are good though
could always be worse
it could be covered with backstreet boys or spice girls!
